Ski Resorts and Roller Coasters

Come on now, are these guys serious? Snowbird Resort, arguably one of the best ski resorts in North America, located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah, wants to build a roller coaster on the mountain. Stating that they need to do something to bring in more revenue during summer months, the bid to build was – thankfully – slammed by the Salt Lake County Board of Adjustment.

Time to go back to the drawing board, guys. Nobody wants your roller coaster with its bridge going over the highway in the middle of the forest. And no, Ishkanian, zip lines and alpine slides are hardly in the same category as a roller coaster.
